The Taming of the Shrew is a Shakespeare work, which has tested time, and won. It has been adapted for screen and stage as well as for television. Bruce Willis and Cybill Shepherd brought it to life on their series, Moonlighting, in the episode titled Atomic Shakespeare. The movie, Ten Things I Hate About You, is loosely based on the play. In modern times, the play has had some controversy as being misogynistic.
