The Winter’s Tale
This was first published in the First Folio of 1623. Critics and creative scholars alike have attributed it under different categories due to its flow. It has been considered as one of the “problem plays”, romances, and comedies. It has had resurgences through the centuries with varying degrees of success and popularity. Based on a pastoral story, The Winter’s Tale is largely classical and is also one of the first ever to use the word “dildo.”
