Much Ado About Nothing
Much Ado About Nothing was thought to have been written between 1598 and 1599, when Shakespeare was in the middle of his career. This is considered as one of Shakespeare’s best comedies and romances. It is a play about mistaken identity, intrigue, and gossip, as well as court politics, honor and shame. This might have been inspired by Italian stories of lovers who were led to believe the unfaithfulness of their partners.
