As You Like It
This is another of Shakespeare’s plays with a pastoral inspiration. It has been widely adapted for other media including films, radio and musicals. As You Like It is the source of some of Shakespeare’s most quoted lines, including “All the world’s a stage”, “A fool! A fool! I met a fool in the forest!” and “too much of a good thing.” Through the ages, critics have been divided on the merits of the play.
