Exercising in public is a privilege and you know it. You don’t want to embarrass yourself by putting more pounds on that bar than you can handle so you test it out in your garage. That trendy new routine doesn’t look too hard so maybe trying it out in the privacy of your home probably won’t hurt. Don’t feel too self-conscious and try asking around instead of potentially hurting yourself without supervision. Besides, those guys around the gym that you’re asking probably had the same feeling and would appreciate knowing that it’s okay to try new things.
