“No one answers phone calls anymore, send me a text”. This is the voicemail greeting of someone who nailed it! It’s funny, but it has a truth to it. Most people communicate via text since it’s more convenient and cheaper than an outgoing call. Plus, there’s a bigger chance that the recipient will get the message right away as it’s common for everyone to bring their mobile phone with them. Plus, for those who spend most of their time outside home, they may not hear the voicemail message immediately.
