Every Time You Go Away – Paul Young
The song was composed and written by Daryl Hall. Although it was recorded by Hall & Oates in 1980, it was not released to the public. It was only in 1985 that the song was released by singer Paul Young. A lot of people still thinks that its lyrics goes “every time you go away, you take a piece of meat with you”. It’s one of the funniest misheard lyrics and it makes us laugh! It should be “you take a piece of me” not “take a piece of meat”!
