Will Not Be Right Back
Mervyn Edward “Merv” Griffin, Jr. was an actor, singer, and talk show host known for his show The Merv Griffin Show. This funny man kept his hilarious personality until his last days as he asked to have the message “I will NOT be right back after this message” engraved on his tombstone. His request was granted and it probably makes his friends and family smile each time they see it and remember him. He was diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2006 and treated for it. However, he lost his battle in 2007.
