Witchita State University’s “WuShocks”
Wheat. This is what WuShock is all about. This is also the mascot of Wichita State University that they named in 1904. It pays homage to the state’s affiliation with wheat. Why wheat? It’s actually a touching story. During off months, students actually worked on the wheat fields and this helps them support their education. At least this wheat mascot does not have a smiley face on it.
