J.K. Rowling, while speaking at the 2008 commencement at Harvard University, gave them a big thank you for making her lose weight due to several days of nausea and fear of speaking. She said that she would just think it’s a big Gryffindor reunion. Adding that she did not remember what was said during her own graduation, she was able to write her speech that would not influence anyone to abandon a career in politics, law or business to be a wizard who’s gay.
