Late Rent Excuses
This landlord always received calls from his tenants regarding their late rents so he changed his voicemail greetings to the following. “Whatever unfortunate chain of events has led you to call my number this time! Leave your story here and I’ll call when I can.” Of course, he knew that those stories were all just excuses for not paying the rent on time. But for something that he might be pissed about, it’s cool that he still made a laugh out of it.
