The biggest anaconda on record
The largest anaconda on record was found in South America in 2008. It was discovered in a coal mine. However, it was not a live anaconda, but it’s fossils were measured. It was recorded to be over 43 feet long with weight reaching 2,500 pounds. It is called a Titanoboa. It was considered large enough to prey on crocodiles. They live in the Amazon. Hence, they have warmer blood than other snakes to support them given the temperature.
